We are pleased to announce that Nancy Shaw is rejoining SettlePou in our Commercial Lending section with a focus on SBA and USDA loans.
Nancy has practiced real estate law in Dallas for over 30 years at both large and small firms. Her background includes commercial lending and secured transactions (new loans, restructures, and renewals), leasing work, acquisition and sale transactions, foreclosures, planned unit development work, and property and loan portfolio sale work. Additionally, in the mid-1990s, Nancy was associate general counsel for a portfolio management corporation which provided management to various subsidiary corporations in FDIC receivership, and provided counsel on general real estate and corporate matters.
Nancy has been a licensed Texas attorney since 1986, after graduating from The University of Texas School of Law. She also is a 1982 graduate of Emory University in Atlanta, as well as a 1978 graduate of The Hockaday School of Dallas. Originally from Massachusetts, Nancy's family moved to Dallas in 1975, where her father worked in real estate development and management. She is also an active member of the State Bar of Texas, the Dallas Bar Association, the Dallas Bar Real Estate Section, the Dallas Area Real Estate Lawyers’ Discussion Group, and Attorneys Serving the Community.
SettlePou is proud to welcome Nancy back as the Fourth (4th) person to return to SettlePou this year, joining Pam Terry, Debra Camacho, and Tracy Goode as those that have boomeranged back to SettlePou.
