  • About

Dan is a member of SettlePou’s Insurance Defense, Commercial Litigation, Financial Services Litigation, and Eminent Domain & Condemnation practices. His experience includes representation of financial institutions, property owners, insurers, employers, outdoor advertising companies, and small businesses in a broad range of commercial disputes, including regulatory, eminent domain, contract, insurance defense, and lending matters, handling pre-suit demands, administrative and legislative actions, alternative dispute resolution, jury and bench trials, and appeals, in both state and federal arenas.

As the youngest of seven children born to an attorney in western New York, Dan was inspired to become a lawyer by his dad. He admired the respect his father garnered in the community, as well as the way he treated other people, including his clients. From this, when Dan is handling a case, each decision revolves around what is in the best interests of SettlePou’s clients, including cost, time, strategy, and their goals and objectives.

Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending time with his family, reading, playing golf, basketball, and soccer, and watching the Texas Rangers and the Buffalo Bills.
