Robert L. Pou III chose to become a lawyer because he enjoyed studying the law and felt he would be good at helping businesses solve their legal needs. Together with Jay Settle, he co-founded SettlePou in 1978. Now, more than 45 years later, he has an esteemed track record of helping many business owners and banks find solutions to their legal problems. With his wealth of experience, he can resolve issues expeditiously and cost-effectively.

About
Robert is a member of SettlePou’s Commercial Lending, Creditor’s Rights & Bankruptcy, and Real Estate practices. Having earned a Master of Business Administration in addition to his law degree, he has a thorough understanding of the business and legal issues facing companies, including business succession and personal planning needs. He enjoys working with banks and other lenders in making loans for real estate and non-real estate collateral. He also represents creditors through the Creditor’s Rights & Bankruptcy practice, including collecting loans, foreclosure, bankruptcy, and defensive litigation.
Outside of work, Robert enjoys spending time with his wife, children, and grandchildren.
