Jillian Loh is a member of the Commercial Lending and Real Estate Practice Groups of SettlePou. Her practice focuses on finance and real estate, with an emphasis on representing financial institutions in connection with the financing of multi-family properties, shopping centers, office buildings, condominiums, mixed-use projects and other types of commercial real estate.
Prior to joining SettlePou, Jillian served as an associate in the Estate Planning and Probate Section of another Texas-based law firm.
Before obtaining her J.D. from Texas A&M University School of Law, Jillian earned a bachelor’s degree in business management and an M.B.A. from the University of Texas at Dallas. During law school, she served as the Citations Editor of the Texas A&M Law Review and was inducted by the law faculty into the National Order of Scribes for outstanding legal writing. Jillian also served as a law clerk for the Honorable Eric Moyé at the 14th Civil District Court in Dallas County.
Prior to becoming a lawyer, Jillian established an extensive career in real estate management. She spent ten years at a Texas-based property management company, giving her a strong background in the residential and commercial real estate industry. In addition, Jillian started her own real estate management company which allowed her to gain experience in various aspects of real estate transactions such as financing, acquisitions, dispositions, commercial leasing and development. By collaborating with her clients and taking the time to develop a full understanding of their businesses and overall objectives, Jillian strives to become a part of the client’s team and works diligently to achieve both their immediate and long-term real estate goals. In every situation, Jillian works hard to be responsive and to produce high-quality work in a timely manner.
Outside of work, Jillian enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, cooking, indoor cycling and yoga.
