SettlePou’s Business Counsel Services Private Business group has served as businesses’ outside In-House counsel for many years. In growing with businesses from start up to sale, the group has advised businesses for legal issues ranging from entity planning and formation, negotiating and creating founder and investor agreements, negotiating and creating contracts, addressing capital needs, advising on employment and human resources issues, handling real estate acquisition and leasing issues, negotiation resolutions to disputes, to sale or liquidations of a business. The Private Business group additionally ensures that the business entities maintain compliance with the Secretary of State and that all corporate formalities are maintained. The group also serves as counsel for board of directors meetings to ensure that all formalities are followed.
