Mr. Porter is and has been involved in various non-profit organizations, serving on several Boards of Directors of same. These organizations typically are focused on the needs of children. In addition, Mr. Porter is dedicated to assuring access to the legal system for those in need.

Work Experience:
Jeff Porter is the chair of SettlePou's Real Estate Transactions practice. For the last 30+ years, he has represented a wide variety of clients in all manner of real estate transactions. These clients include pension advisors, developers, private funds, and individual investors in retail, office, industrial, hospitality, medical and multi-family acquisitions and dispositions, as well as leasing and management of these facilities. In the present market environment, his clients have been acquiring assets through the purchase of secured indebtedness, primarily bank and CMBS notes, with a common realization of asset ownership through foreclosure and/or negotiated transfer.
