Work Experience:
Don Gwin is the chair of SETTLEPOU’s Commercial Lending practice. Mr. Gwin represents bank and non-bank lenders, providing a broad spectrum of services in documenting and closing commercial loans, and provides expertise in creditor’s rights including collateralization, foreclosure, bankruptcy and defensive litigation. Mr. Gwin’s specialty is representation of SBA and USDA lenders across the Nation, including advice and services with respect to protection of the government loan guaranty and obtaining payment of the government guaranteed portion of these loans. He provides outsourced expertise to lenders with respect to ever changing SBA and USDA regulations and standard operating procedures. Mr. Gwin previously served as in-house District Counsel for the U.S. Small Business Administration and represents many of the country’s most active SBA lenders.
