ABOUT

Kent has defended hundreds of Texas businesses in state district court and before various arbitration tribunals. His broad knowledge of this area of Texas law has led to Kent receiving a very high proportion of “no negligence” findings for his clients. This success has been achieved as the result of combining hard work with creativity. Kent sees every client and every case as unique, and the defense of each case is specially tailored to the facts as well as the personality of the client.

In addition to trial work, Kent has represented Texas businesses in state appellate courts and before the Texas Supreme Court.

Outside of work, Kent enjoys spending time with his family engaged in outdoor activities such as fishing and hunting. He also plays music and is a filmmaker. He loves traveling and has attended various film festivals throughout the country.

Kent D. Williamson is a member of SettlePou’s Insurance Defense and Nonsubscriber Defense practices.
