Allen Smith

ABOUT


As the son of an attorney, with two brothers who are also attorneys, and his own son is a licensed attorney, Allen’s roots in law run deep. He regularly speaks at industry and legal conferences, has written many articles, and is featured often in both local and national media.

Allen is a sixth-generation Texan and native Dallasite, and he oversees a cattle operation that has been a family business for more than 70 years.

Allen is Chairman of the Board of SettlePou and head of the firm’s Commercial Litigation practice. Allen has been Board Certified in Civil Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization since 1992. His experience and ability to be creative with assessments and solutions make him a powerful advocate for his clients.
