Laura E. Brandt
Laura E. Brandt’s background in journalism taught her how to listen effectively—both to what people are and aren’t saying—and to develop the facts. She uses these skills as a valuable advocate for SettlePou’s clients in the firm’s Commercial Litigation and Insurance Defense practices.
Laura excels in research, communication, writing, and problem-solving. She focuses her Commercial Litigation practice on mortgage lending litigation, contract disputes, and Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act claims. Her Insurance Defense practice includes third-party liability claims involving automobiles, watercraft, buses, tractor-trailers, and commercial vehicles, as well as first-party insurance claims.
Outside of work, Laura enjoys traveling, reading, cheering for Dallas and Mizzou sports teams, attending concerts, and spending time with family and friends.
