Community Involvement:
Barry is very active in First United Methodist Church where he has served as chairman of the board of trustees, overseeing a fund raising effort for a new church building. Mr. Johnson is also active in the Rhodes College Alumni association and The Rhodes College Leadership Council.

Work Experience:
Barry's specialty is Mortgage Banking. After law school, Barry clerked for Hon. Harry Hopkins of the Fort Worth Court of Appeals. Many years as Vice President and General Counsel for a large, nationwide mortgage lender prepared Barry for his concentration in representing all forms of housing secured lenders. Mr. Johnson is active in the Texas Mortgage Bankers Association and a frequent speaker on various mortgage lending topics including Mortgage Fraud, Identity Theft, Home Secured Lending and Home Equity Lending. Mr. Johnson has also presented papers to the Texas Association of Bank Counsel and The State Bar of Texas CLE programs.
